SYNOPSIS
OF 12-PACK 3 STOOGES SET
|
Stars - Moe, Larry, Curly, Paul Winchell, Jerry Mahoney, Knucklehead
Smiff Director - Lou Brandt Producer - Sid Kuller Writer - Sid Kuller
Genre - TV Laughs galore as the Three Stooges, Marquis Chimps, Paul
Winchell, Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smith get it together. It's a
Three Stooges buffet that will satisfy every appetite! Get ready to sink
your teeth into a feature-length compilation of clips from your favorite
Three Stooges shorts, plus a hilarious short film from the 1940s in it
entirety. STOP! LOOK! AND LAUGH! (1960) was compiled by
producer/director Jules White, who has edited together some of the
funniest Three Stooges clips featuring Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly
Howard. Introduced by Paul Winchell and his dummy Jerry Mahoney, these
classic clips include bits from such favorites as "A Plumbing We
Will Go," "Micro-Phonies" and "How High Is Up."
Also featured are the Marquis Chimps starring in a hilarious rendition
of the Cinderella story. BONUS SHORT FILM In A BIRD IN THE HEAD (1946),
a mad scientist in need of a human brain small enough to transplant into
his pet gorilla becomes convinced that he has found the perfect donor in
Curly. This time the Stooges really need to use their heads - before
Curly loses his!

Stars - Larry, Moe, Curly-Joe, Adam West, Henry Gibson Director - Norman
Maurer Producer - Norman Maurer Writer - Elwood Ullman Genre - TV Adam
West co-stars in the Stooges' last feature, which finds them out of
control in the wild, woolly West. Get the long and the short of the
Three Stooges in this exciting Old West double feature, which contains
one feature-length film from the '60s along with a classic short film
from the '30s. THE OUTLAWS IS COMING (1965), also known as The Three
Stooges Meet the Gunslingers, is a wacky Western in which Larry, Moe and
Curly-joe co-star with Adam West (TV's "Batman"), Henry Gibson
(TV's "Laugh-In"), longtime Stooge sidekick Emil Sitka and
Nancy Kovack (Frankie and Johnny). The Stooges are sent, along with an
editor, by a conservationist magazine publisher on the East Coast to
inversigate a gunslinger who is wiping out the buffalo population in the
West in order to turn the Indians against his enemy, the U.S. Cavalry.
With a little help from Annie Oakley and an unusual cache of weapons
(including cream pies), they are able to dodge the posse's bullets...and
make the West safe for the wild creatures that roam its frontiers. BONUS
SHORT FILM: IN GOOFS AND SADDLES (1937), Moe Howard, Larry Fine and
Curly Howard are enlisted by Civil War General Muster to help save the
country from a notorious cattle rustler.

G.I.
Stooge
Synopsis:
Boobs in Arms (1940) The troops on both sides are in real trouble when
Moe, Larry and Curly are enlisted by a jealous husband who also happens
to be a sergeant. “Friendly fire” takes on a whole new meaning as
they attempt to defend themselves with a canister of laughing gas and
their plan backfires. Back From the Front (1943) After merchant mariners
Moe, Larry and Curly mistake a torpedo for a whale and accidentally
cause it to explode, they find themselves cast away at sea in a
lifeboat...until they board a Nazi warship and make an even bigger
mistake. G.I. Wanna Go Home (1946) When Moe, Larry and Curly are dis-charged,
they go from bunkers to bunk beds upon learning that they now have no
home and there are no vacancies to be had anywhere. With their fiancees,
they move into a vacant lot and make the most of it, until a farmer
forces them to move on. Wee Wee Monsieur (1938) They’ll always have
Paris...even if Paris wouldn’t have them! Moe, Larry and Curly are
having a hard time making it as artists, which means they have no means
to pay for rent or food. An assignment with the French Foreign Legion
might be just the solution. No Dough Boys (1944) Mistaken for Japanese
saboteurs after posing in make up to look like Japanese soldiers for a
magazine ad, Moe, Larry and Curly decide to stay undercover and fight
the high-ranking German spies into whose hideout they’ve stumbled.
Dizzy Pilots (1943) It seems nothing goes right when Moe, Larry and
Curly attempt to prove to the military that they can fly their airplane,
the Buzzard. But it’s not only their egos that are inflated, and Moe
appears headed for a crash landing.

Cops
And Robbers:
Calling
All Curs (1939) Veterinarians Moe, Larry and Curly have gone to the
dogs, but when they attempt to replace a priceless pooch that's been
dognapped while under their care, they really wind up in the doghouse.
They're barking up the wrong tree if they think they can get away with
this scheme! Disorder in the Court (1936) When a sexy nightclub dancer
is put on trial for murder, her only hope is three star witnesses: Moe,
Larry and Curly. The Stooges are only too happy to help, but when they
show up in court to testify, their antics disrupt the proceedings, and
the defense never rests. Dizzy Detectives (1943) Rookie gumshoes Moe,
Larry and Curly kick off their new careers with a case that proves to be
way over their heads. It seems a gorilla is committing a series of
burglaries, and they may be the only ones to catch him. Can they crack
the case before the big ape really goes bananas? Flat Foot Stooges
(1938) A crooked fire truck salesman finds himself in hot water when he
sabotages one of Fire Chief Kelly's trucks. While Larry, Moe and Curly
pamper Chief Kelly's fire truck-pulling horses, a blaze engulfs the
firehouse and puts the firefighting Stooges to the ultimate test. Crime
on Their Hands (1948) Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but they're
not Shemp's. When he mistakes the Punjab Diamond for a breath mint,
Shemp faces the end of an unsterilized knife in the hands of Dapper Dan,
who stole the diamond and wants it back ˆ and he's not waiting until it
passes naturally. Who Done it? (1949) When The Phantom Gang strikes
again, millionaire Old Man Goodrich calls the Alert Detective Agency and
hires the Stooges to protect him. But Moe, Larry and Shemp arrive just
after Goodrich is kidnapped, and are thwarted by a seductress who
administers a near-lethal dose of distraction.
